Hey guys,

So I recently got a 2008 Scion XB. I took my radio from my old car (A pioneer P5100) and had little trouble wiring it into the new vehicle. I've never had steering wheel controls before, so when I started researching I read that the Axxess Interface ASWB was incredibly easy to put in.


Long story short, I bought it, read the directions, attempted to install, and it didn't work.

I called the Axxess website, and carefully read through all of the steps that were written. The guy went on hold for ten minutes, and after he got back on the line he said according to all the information I gave him, I was doing everything correct and he had no idea why it wasn't working.

After that point, I attempted to meter the wires on the steering wheel controls and got nothing.

So, my question is: has anybody encountered this before? According to everything I read this was supposed to be a simple process. Any of you guys know anything I may have missed? Or are there any common issues that could snag this?
