It wants to be a Subaru from 5 years ago so bad... but doesn't quite pull it off.

I see the new tC2 RS, and those seats are $! But we won't get them, us Americans are too fat.:blah:

I agree with 2tCornot2tC, I want the wing. I wonder if this version has a bulb in the passenger side reverse spot... That's what I REALLY want!!!

Actually, its factory leather, not Alcantara (faux suede).
And yes, I bet it has the two reverse lights, but you'd have to buy both to keep your tail lights matched.

what? toyota is re-selling the scion tc as a toyota in other markets! that is blasphemy! it is like selling the scion xA as a toyota ist, and the scion xB as the toyota bB, or the second gen scion xB as a toyota corolla rumion, or the scion xD as a toyota urban cruiser!
we won't stand for this! the tC is our one and only exclusive model (based of the toyota avensis chassis which is sold in europe)

I'll buy 2. Hell, at this point, I'd buy a dozen. I'll bet I could sell them here in the states just fine!

Well, at least we are paying $18,995/$19,995 and they are paying $24,500/$25,500 for virtually the same car. I wouldn't pay $5,000 more for the Toyota badges.

I think it's for middle east. Not for Japan.
If it's for Japan, then the driver seat should be on the right side.
Ah good call! So after all this the tC is still not JDM...sigh...lol I'd like to see it in Japan then the Middle East. I'd would think there would be more killer parts made if it were to be sold in Japan anyways.

Technically it was the other way though. The xA and xB were just rebadged Toyota models brought to the us as Scion. The tC was the first one that was purely a scion design. But same concept.. the fact that the tC was the one scion that was not a "Toyota" elsewhere has changed.
And they still have the old xb looking hvac controls on this Zelas... That is probably the part of the interior that bothers me most I think on the new ones.

i know, i was just joking since the OP says he felt rooked that toyota is going to sell the tC in other markets under a different brand and model name when nearly the entire line-up of cars are platforms that are rebadged versions of cars sold in other markets.

The first gen wasnt sold elsewhere, yea it shared the platform, but the avensis has a different body...
Now, this double layer wing is fugly, but I wouldn't mind getting the other one.

The first picture reminds me of an lexus is-f. The front body kit looks nice, but to aggressive for my taste.
