NJ just had a quick mini blizzard and my cars got topped with about 3 inches of snow..
so I was wonderin what should I do for caring for my car( mainly the paint) .
for example, should I brush off the snow off the paint with a snow brush-but that'll cause major sctraches..
and should i just leave the excess snow on the car (in the garage) to just melt away or should i brush/swipe/wutever it off???
THANKS

No matter how careful you are, your pait will get fine scratches. Thats what wax is for. You can use a snow brush, just dont press down hard, brush lightly.
If you pulll your car into your garage to melt the snow, your just making more problems for yourself. Melting snow causes excess moisture. Having extra moisture can cause rust and it will attack anything in your garage. Next time is snows, move your ride inside, and clearing off the snow wont be an issue.
BTW ... use a good quality wax in the spring. Then follow with a wax once a month after that.

oh my god, talk about paranoid. just lightly brush it off with the brush. bring the brush in with you at night, reason being, snow collects in it and forms ice, making it useless, if you keep it in your car outside.

We pay for it tho, with our inflated property values, high rental rates, and Prop 13 makin the younger generation share the property tax burden.

I kid I kid.
To clean your snow, just lightly brush it off, then was when the weather warms up. If you want to have a flawless car, then park it in a Zip Lock Baggie. Otherwise, just do your best not to ding it up now, and enjoy the new ride.
