Sunday on Dec 19th, I got into a car accident due to some jackass doing 90 on the FWY here. It was raining and his back pour of water caused me to lose control of my car

My hydroplaned right then left, next thing I know I see the center divider. Hit that thing head on, the car then flipped some 10 times (so I was told by witness). Got hauled off by Ambulance a few minutes later.

Lucky me, I only suffered a 3 tiny cuts to my scalp and right hand. I got a bruise up my left wrist,index and thumb. So,overall this car saved my life.

That's insane that your car gained that incredible velocity to flip 10 times by hydroplaning into a barrier!

Someone up there was looking out for you that day. And he or she probably likes Scions.

 

sounds like it did what it was designed to do. save your life. my wife was in a 08 tc. was cliped in the rear and hit a big brick sign at 70 mph. the car was crushed. she walk away with a bump and a cut. after seeing that, went and bought her a new xb. then i bought a 06 tc.

 

Glad you're ok. You didn't even get any seatbelt burn? God, you're lucky. What year was the XD? Wrecking your car is bad luck, but walking away is a spectacular Christmas present. You and your family have a Merry Christmas and a safe New Years.

glad you are okay. a car can always be replaced. most would have ended up in intensive care for weeks. Thank god for the XD

Kristian, sounds like you are pretty lucky, other than losing the car. Good luck getting the car stuff straightened out.

I hear ya bro, 1-1-2009 i rolled mine at 50+ MPH. no witnesses. it was either once or twice. I walked out without a scratch (minor aches from seatbelt). Car looked a little better than yours, but i see the rollover ratings hold up for both of us. Glad you're ok!
