Car Accident: Scion tC vs Suzuki XL-7 *pics*
our company secretary was in an accident on saturday. she drives a suzuki xl-7. she was making a left hand turn across three lanes. it's one of those accidents where cars stop in the first two lanes to allow you to make the left hand turn and then you try to sneak out to the last lane and hope no one is coming. well, when she pulled out into the last lane, *boom*! hello brand new scion tc.
the tc t-boned her and actually wedged under her passenger side, lifting her suv up and it flipped four times. it may have flipped even more, but a light pole stopped her car on the driver side and the suv landed on it's tires strangely enough.
she was buckled up and had only minor cuts and bruises and she's still shaken up of course. her bf was in the passenger seat with NO seatbelt and he broke his hip. the passenger that was driving the tc had only a bruise on her left arm and she sprained her ankle. the passenger of the tc approximated that she was driving at about 40-45mph, which is the posted speed limit where the accident occured.

That is just unfortuante for your friend in the Suzuki. It sucks for the owner of the tC also. Always good to hear that everyone survived.
