Default JIC exhaust installed

Installed JIC exhaust today, took about 25 minutes. Combined with the CAI (aem) i can definitely feel a difference between 2400-3200rpms. I took off the silencer and it sounds real nice. I'm pleased with the turn out, overall impressed. Simple install, just took off the old and bolted right in the new. *yes!*

http://www.cardomain.com/id/killerxromances is the site for pictures. The last page contains the new exhaust pictures. Im all ready for exposed now!

Cya!

Was there a difference from switching from a borla exhaust to the JIC?

I used to be a fan of JIC until I heard about their lousy quality control. Some guy with a WRX (STi?) had a JIC titanium exhaust. One of the welds gave way, so he called JIC. They told him it was a known problem and that they fixed it in a new revision of the exhaust system. He asked if he could get the revised one in exchange for the broken one. They told him he could either buy a new one or get it re-welded at a muffler shop... lame.

There was a big difference between Borla and JIC. Borla was more just sound, not really geared towards performance. I may have gotten 2-3hp from the Borla. JIC i can feel a difference, id say i gained around 5 to the wheels, sounds louder and to me looks better. (loud, not crotch-rocketish)

That sucks about your friend man. But you got to keep in mind, that could have happend to any exhaust company. It just so happens it was JIC.

I do, but when i put them online something, somehow the audio didn't work. Sprint is a . I haven't heard the rs-r but it is pretty deep. No bees in this exhaust!
