Could anyone help me out, I need to find the O2 sensor signal wire! Location? Color? Any advice would really help.

Don't know but that part is pretty much useless. Get a wideband instead.

I think the stock 02 sensor up front is wideband...but maybe I'm wrong

 

All you do is wire the black wire to a ground and the white to a power that comes on with the ignition switch, these are the wires to turn on the lights, I ran the white wire on my gauge to the clock wire. The purple or whatever color it may be wire goes to the blue wire on your first O2 sensor which is actually an A/F Ratio sensor. It is very easy to hook up and like the other guy said useless.

 

useless yes but it was just sitting around... I have tried to use the blue wire for O2 but it never sweeps just one green LED is on full rich all the time... even tried my buddies A/F to see if my A/F was not working properly but the same thing. I hooked up my buddies in his 2000 celica gt-s w/ no problems but i cant seem to get a reading w/ mine maybe TC runs on differnet O2 voltages???

As far as I know it should work the same because all of the newer toyotas use the same voltage in the sensors. No clue why that doesn't work on your car.

 

Its like what English said the front 02 is a wideband. You need a special gauge for it. I found this out after hooking up my code scanner looking at live engine data.

 

Is there a standalone gauge for wideband o2 sensors?

i did a quick search and i found a few kits (which include the sensor) for almost $400!

 

the stock wideband is very different from a normal aftermarket wideband (it is not a linear 0-5v wideband if you know what that means) and so i still dont think you can get a gauge for that sensor. if you really want to try and see the a/f ratio sensor readings try an obd2 scanner.

I think if you hook up the gauge to the o2 sensor on the s-pipe (under the car) it will work. i know for a fact that the front one is called an a/f ratio sensor (about $175) and the s-pipe is called an o2 sensor (about $70) and is used on several other toyota cars while the a/f ratio sensor is only used on the 03 newer camry 4 cyl. anyways good luck.

 

so confusing, maybe a third sensor is the best way to go... ;P
