Just thought I would share my install. I did not grab any pictures before or during the install but here are some from after.

The install was pretty easy, hardest part was neatly tucking all wires in and trying to keep the area behind the radio clean.
I performed the bypass and it is working wonderfully I can watch DVD's or enter addresses while moving, I also used an Axxess ASWC control interface for the steering wheel controls which works great, there is practically no delay and the unit auto recognized the car and radio unit.

This is my first in dash Nav unit so I'm loving it to the fullest. The i-Pod control is awesome. Ability to change play list, artist or song very quickly. I have also loaded my ipod with a ton of movies which play great right through the ipod interface. The Navigation seems to be pretty good even though I heard a lot of negative comments on it.

The cover still closes (Which i usually close when leaving the car parked outside for an extended amount of time) and I also used the metra trim kit to keep the sides looking clean when the door is open.

Yeah, I don't have an iPhone so I just stream pandora on my blackberry through bluetooth, sounds great.

Do you know If we can change the icons for POI's?

Oh ok, Yeah I haven't used it for actual directions yet. Hopefully it doesn't suck too much.

I knew where I was going the time I used it but I just put it in and wanted to see how it was it was about a 2 hour drive it wanted me to get off 5 exits before I did and then it had me driving through a town I really didn't know it still got me there but I could have just went those extra 5 exits and location is right there so that I didn't really like also there was a problem with turning on hids while it was playing radio it would cut off all audio
And you would have to restate to get back on couple people have had that problem on the avic forum not sure in your case mine did it but dosnt seem to do it anymore it's a good unit tho not trying to bring you down on it
