I have an all stock setup with the premium headunit. I blew the driver side tweeter some how and now i need advice on what to do. Should i but some crappy tweeters from somewhere and replace my current tweeters or buy a set of components and use them with my stock headunit. Also if anybody has an extra tweeter they would like to sell me i would be interested in buying.

You can get a tweeter set for like $30, but the highs wont match from left to right. Best bet would bet to get a set of components. You can get cheap ones for under $100 if you are just looking for a replacement

If you do decide to get components there are two options you can choose from. You can go out and buy a good set of components, but they would not sound that great without a four channel amp. Those components would have a separate crossover.

Or you could buy a set such as the Alpine type S components. These use a bass blocker for the tweeter which blocks all low frequencies that go to the tweeter. I would say get these, and a half inch spacer for the front. This will save you some money and still sound pretty good being on a budget. Good luck!!
