Sorry this was not all clear, kinda hard to read. And fyi xBs only have a single header.

If you are wanting us to check out some header on ebay, it would have helped to post a link. Thought for $100 bucks, chances are its already been posted and its not going to be any kind of good quality.

Yeah, I was about to get angry about that "s" at the end of the xB2 Header. lol

Let me give you a nickel's worth of free advice:

If a header costs $100, it's bound to have problems. I wouldn't buy it.

eBay's okay for the smaller stuff, but for bigger mods like these, it's better to buy the official stuff. Strup, Weapon, etc.

If you have an xB1, I suggest asking in the xB1 forum.

See post #5 above. Do you guys do any checking at all before posting questions? Doesn't look like it!

The End all for this thread is If you buy a cheap header yes, you are saving money but you are not saving yourself from headache later on down the the road. There is a much greater possibility IMO for a header that is being sold for pennies on the dollar compared to a name brand header you're running the risk of either bad fitment bad welds or warping issues...

"looks legit" well duh, that's because it's ebay and anyone trying to make a hustle will post up a nice picture, give a nice description of it, maybe throw in some crap horsepower number. header on an xb is really just for sound, so if you want to spend 100 bucks, be prepared for a rice civic coffee maker sound coming out of a box.

save your money

A header does give you some horsepower gain, but it's not like 15 additional horsepower.

It's for greater air flow. I bought a used Strup Header off someone here (I forget who lol) to get some extra sound and a little more kick. So basically I paid around $150, but I wouldn't justify paying, you know... $300+ for it brand new.

If you just want sound then replace the scuba tank with a normal resonator, and get an axle-back.

Im going to try this part out once it arrives. I will be de-burring/opening up (intake and header) with a dremel, and going over welds if necessary. Once it is finished, I will post up a dyno run from my ebay CAI Header, and axleback vs stock a/t run
