the install isnt too bad, just the diode isolation of the doors is a bit of a pain in the butt.

yeah, you'll have lower back pain for a week from laying on the ground soldering up all the wires.

if you need to ask for advice on this, i'd suggest trying to barter with someone that knows what they;re doing.

I'd agree with this. Take it from an ex-profession installer, doing a couple headunits and an amp doesn't mean you are near ready for an alarm. You going to be cutting and tapping into multiple wires in the vehicle in different areas and you need the right tools to make sure you are getting the wires you want. Where are you located? Maybe we can find someone near by that can help out.

You dont need to diode isolate the door triggers, just grab the domelight, it does all 4 doors.

If your near Palmdale I'll do it but you gotta pay me unless you got something you could trade for the labor. I'm a prof. installer.

Like stated before, installing a couple decks and systems doesnt mean you know what your doing. I tell people all the time, juust because it turned on, doesnt mean you did it right.

Remote starts can either be cake or the worst day of your life depending on the vehicle. The xb isnt difficult by any means but I highly recommend paying someone if youve never installed an alarm before. I especially recommend it if you dont even know what tools are needed without asking.
