I need help on deciding what lowering springs should i get...
the ksport gt or the tanabe df210 for my 2011 XB..
i know the drop rate is almost about the same
but hows the ride quality on both of them?
any suggestions or input will greatly be appreciated!

I know the DFs are awesome... but honestly don't think anyone around has the ksport springs, only coilovers.

I have a set of NF210s Im taking off and putting DFs on soon. The ride is great.

I've installed about 4 sets of DF210's. They're definitely decent for the money.

get the ksport springs just so you can be the first and then tell everyone how they are! They're pretty cheap on ebay if I recall correctly.

I like mine but if I could Id try out the Tein S or H techs for the stiffer rates. The DF is a good ride but the rear passengers complain of bounciness (but i dont care). I know with the Teins itd be more bouncy :) New Tokicos all around took care of most of the bounce. Bounce bounce

I used to rock Eibach Sportlines and there was absolutely NO BOUNCE. My car was really planted and handled awesome, but I definitely felt those speed bumps resonate through my car.

The sporty handling was amazing, but I switched to NF210s because I wanted a more comfortable ride.

my GT's got here today - I work very closely with a shop and we are throwing them on this week. I will be demo'ing them on the dragon this weekend and will post pics / let you know how it goes.

I am more than happy to live down here. I work 12 miles from it. Sometimes after work we ride out there and drive it - makes every bad day a good one.

If anywhere can test a suspension though, the dragon is the place. If you haven't had the chance to come out, you are more than welcome to get a first hand guided tour from me. ;)

So the Ksport GT's are low in the rear, or at least low enough that on a 235/35/19 on a 10w (+25) I cannot roll without rubbing with more than one person in the car. I am deff. going to have to do some fender rolling and modification to make a 10 roll in the rear on these. the front on the other hand may need to settle some more. I am waiting on a set of 35 offset fronts to run, so I will have the same spec with a small bit of camber. I figure the rear would fit much better if I gave it a couple degrees - but as far as front height it doesn't look as low as I think it should considering the rear. I will hold judgment until I get the front wheels on, but on stocks it doesn't look like it will be low enough to match the rear. I will post pics shortly.

I Am still running them currently, but I am swapping them for racelands as I have a negative rake look after 10k. It wasn't bad to begin with, but now it has started to bother me.

I always thought the front could be lower from the beginning. Lately though it does appear to be getting worse. I attribute this to a combination of stock shocks and bad roads though. Mine will be off soon though and I can measure then and see what the sag is if any.

Thanks for your help, I'm trying to get a little more low but dont have the money. i've seen the rake in most of the pics with these springs and it doesn't bother me too much, but i know this isn't something i should be cheap about. Do they ride well? more firm than stock? there's very little info out about these springs.

I would say relatively close to stock feel, although the rears do have a bit more travel than I would have expected, but on stock wheels and tires with a "normal" offset they do not rub.

I personally feel like the fronts need a coil cut to look right. if they were an inch lower in the front the whole car would sit better. I think the problem comes from the front wheel arches being a different shape and a bit higher, so even if the vehicle is level it looks like the front is riding higher.

For my .02, they are a good option if you just want a lowered vehicle and are planning on buying struts at a later date. Otherwise, I would go with a set of coilovers from one of the major brands - I am going with racelands because I have had an excellent experience with them coming from the VW world. They are what you pay for however, and will ride a bit rougher than stock and won't be as smooth as an H&R set. Again, personal preference is key here.
