Well, we have started it. The website should be up by the end of the week. But the club is based in Tulsa. I suppose you could start up an OKC chapter. or you could just come up to our meets.

 

I'm waiting to check out this website. I just might have to come up there because like I said before there just doesn't seem to be much going on here......unless it's a big secret and I know nothing about it.

Hey GloriusMidget, I was one of those that tried to get in the OKC club in the first meet. What happened that day was that I was installing my Injen intake and it was too late by the time I was done with it. In addition to that you know, Tulsa is a bit far from OKC so I just give up. By the way Queens, I'm in the Air Force also. I believe I saw your xB down in Tinker this past sunday parked in the AAFES, if yours is a Camo one.

 

We should all meet up at Sonic in Brookside on a Sat. night.

Sorry about the question but, where's Brookside? I don't know much about Oklahoma.

 

There is a Sonic at about 38th and Peoria that people gather at on Saturday nights, sometimes you have park across Peoria. Jasons Deli @ 61st and Memorial on Tuesday nights is anotherbig one.

 

We are planning a cookout and then a drive down to Sonic on Sat. the 16th. If you are interested, let me know. The cookout is going to be at my house so you will have to PM me for the address and directions.

 

Dang take a weekend off and se what happens! I would be interested in a club either in Tulsa or here in OKC or a OKC chapter whatever just some cool people that share the same common feeling for thier SCION! I think the reason we dont have much excitement here in Oklahoma for Scions is consumer education. How many times have you been asked "whats at thang?" and "Who makes it?"? The information just isnt circulating here but, I however do my best to inform every single person interested in what is is, who makes and why I LOVE IT! Anyway Im mostly stock right now with with only rims but, theres plans for a full paint job, lowering, stereo, interior, and a full sliding rag top. Its really the hgs car and she traded in a convertible for it so I told her wed make this a convertaible. lol

Hey Midget, King of Queens, and any other OKC'ers. Sorry I havent posted as much as I used to. I was the one who originally suggested the idea of a Scion OKC club back last September but got busy even though I went to the meet we had that one time. I think now the weather is getting nicer, we ought to go full speed at creating an OKC club again. I would be happy to organize or help out if someone else wants to. I've been doing DIY's and mods by myself but it would be cool if we could do them as a group. I did the DIY cabin airfilter and I made some other custom things as well. I also installed a DVD player and screen and would like to tackle other projects that would require other hands. We did this in another car club I was in as a group in addition to other events. I'll start a new OKC thread and guage interest and making this a reality finally!

How may others are in OKC?

It'd be nice to meet up with you guys some time. I'm gonna try and make it to the Import Fest car show at Thunder Valley this Sunday, so if any of you guys are able to make it out let me know so we can get together...
