Default Problem with ObdII port?

Plugged up a greddy informeter to check IAT's and EGT's, but seemed like I wasn't getting any power. Checked fuses, obdII fuse was blown.

I replaced the fuse, scantools now work, but informeter still doesn't? I did plug the informeter into a few other cars, turns on immediately. When I checked to see if all the pins in the obdII port lined up with the plug for the informeter..they didn't.

Is there a guide for the obdII port so I can map out the informeter's plugs, and hopefully get it powered up?

Need to know what each plug does, so I can move the pins in the harness accordingly.

Thanks all :D

Question Scanner Won't stay on

I too have problems with my scanner (an Innova Equus 3130) - plugging it in and as soon as I press the scan button it powers off. Checked all the fuses (replaced 1) and tried it again with no luck. The manufacturer said it might be defective, but I've had it (the car) checked at 2 different auto supply stores and they both had the same issue with their scanners. If you have an idea of what we can try prior to paying big $$ to have this looked at, I would appreciate any and all help. We've double checked that the 16 pin works and is getting power, so we're at a loss.

Thanks so much! Oh yeah, I guess I should say I have a '06 Scion XA with 113k on it.

I think the reason you guys are having problems is because your cars have the CAN (controller area network) the pins #6 and #14 are the can bus pins. The scan tool plug pictured shows no pins in #6 and #14. This tool will work on older OBD II cars but not yours. I wouldnt recomend swapping any pins around damage could result.
