TRDs on 100k tC?
Wondering if itd be safe to drop on some TRDs on a 100k+ tC. I know with the s-techs or even the h-techs, anything lower then a 1.25" drop can lead to premature strut blowout. Suggestions?
Your struts should be replaced by 100K miles anyways, adding a spring won't make much of a difference on wear when their likely already pretty worn. ANY aftermarket lowering strut will vastly affect wear on struts.
I added springs at 95K...I'm now at 140K.
If I had a chance to do it again, I would have replaced the struts along with the springs. I've had no major issues, but the ride is getting rougher as the miles get higher.
