Default 2005 Dash Wiring Harness question

Hey folks.
It's been a while since I've posted here but I need your help! I got a 2005 2AZ-FE engine I'm trying to swap into a 1990 Celica ST. I have the wiring harness for the engine, but I don't have the complete dash wiring since I wasn't thinking and just cut the ones for the dash thinking I could just splice the wiring into the existing Celica dash wiring. I do have the complete accelerator pedal (thanksfully) and I've managed to figure out all the wiring for the dash since I do have the terminals for both the Scion and the Celica ECU.

My question is since there are some things like cruise control, vacuum detection leak, transponder key, and others can't remember off the top of my head, could I just not connect the cruise control. Can I connect the transponder wires together there by eliminating the need for it. Can I use something like the apex II to deal with the vacuum detection leak. I can explain more if you didn't understand that.

Any help greatlly appreciated
