Default SNS100 Question

Ok, im sure its been answered but i cant find it. I cant be the only one irritated about not being able to mess with the ipod or nav screen while "in motion". I thought i ran across something where you cut and just ground the trigger wire under the console that tells the radio the car has stopped to trick it? Its completely annoying especially when i have passengers and they want to pick songs they want to hear or change something on our navigation trip.

Any help? maybe a thread to lead me in the right direction?
