Anyone running the Weapon R s-pipe?

I am with the weapon r header. power gains would not be real noticeable b/c you still got the factory scuba tank in the exhaust. Does not sound raspy though, and looks nice. Easy install with the header, not sure on just the s-pipe.

The Weapon-R 'S' pipe replaces the OE 'S' pipe, it doesn't replace the scuba (main resonator/cat). However, if you were to replace the scuba with a straight pipe, you would totally fail any emissions inspection, as well as probably not sound too good !

It was too loud with the CXR exhaust but after some custom work by MBS, it now sounds great with no cats and no scuba. I'm running a 3" s-pipe into a 3" I/O 18" x 6" resonator tapered into a 2.5" mid-pipe and modified 2.5" TRD axle-back.
IMO the key to replacing the scuba tank is to use a large resonator and a good muffler. The CXR resonator is too small to do anything and their muffler is just a cheaply made 3" fart can.

Ah, but you see, you really didn't have an emissions inspection .

A header replaces the OE exhaust manifold which includes the pre-cat. If you want to replace the "scuba" (OE resonator and main cat combination), you'll need something custom.

i have the weapon r header and s-pipe along with the strup cat back. if you are to install it your self i would say life your car as high as you can. i had to use the oem jack that came with the car in a dark garage with no power lol. wasent to fun but not to hard. just make sure you you dont leave anything loose. i did and it blew out the gasket and bent my piping. had to cut and re-weld to get everything striaght again lol
