Although they had the youngest driver, most passes, top driver, top team, manufacturer, in 2007 tC's, , unfortunately, DG Spec is not continuing in World Challenge.
It sounds like Scion would rather give cars to build-offs nobody hears of (there was one that was only on the internet that I can't even recall the name of) than to support a championship-winning team...

 

So Scion is not tossing them any more funds to continue their winning efforts? That sucks..

 

They are going back to West Coast NASA Endurance events.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe World Challenge changed the regulations for Touring Car class and limited engine size to 2.0L.

 

There are varying rulesets for varying cars. TC was allowed a blower to equalize the field.

 

The Volvo C30 uses a turbo 2.5 5 cylinder engine.

 

So sad

 

On the bright side, Dan Gardner and Scott Webb are doing very well in West Coast NASA endurance events.
