sport mufler. Those are the features I would get when ordering my Xa. Does the car "need" these to function properly on the road/freeway? What happens to gas milage? Would there be enough pick-up-and go? (I'm not looking to race but don't want to look back a year from now and say this thing is too slow) Would there be a noticeable difference and more of a fun factor?

Thanks

You'd be better off not buying these parts from Toyota.

Most of those things you listed are a waste of money and will have no discernable effect on performance. They are more or less riceboy mods to give you a placebo effect. Race clutch is totally unnecessary for a car with 105 lbft of torque. Sport muffler is just silly, unless you want to change the exhaust note. Strut tower bars are effective in stiffening up a old hoopty ride that doesn't have much torsional rigidity, but they are totally pointless on a very rigid little box with a short stubby hood.

The cold air intake will give you a bit more response and perhaps 3-5 more horsepower. If you want better handling, a stiffer rear anti-sway bar will do 10x as much as a strut tower bar.

^^^ Great advice :D

I would add to the "good mod" list the short shift kit. It's one of the best cheap mods for our car, plus it makes it a blast to drive!

Thanks man.

I agree on the short shifter too, that's why I got myself one!
