I know they look good on almost all cars
but does anyone else think they are starting to get played out?

I have seen alot cars w/black rims and polished lips lately
anyone else notice this?

i know when i get my sw tc it will have black rims with a polished lip. Doesn't matter what anyone else has to me.

We don't see many here in the Chi, so that's why I went with black and a polished lip.

I kinda agree with KYjelly up there. I was thinking about going with a black rim and polished lip but everywhere I turn I see a Civics and Tegs with black wheels. I just don't know what color to go for now. I kinda wish I would've gotten a dark color xB so that way I would have more choices on wheel color.

a couple of years ago berely anyone had black with a polished lip.. thats when a friend of mine had em.. back then they were as rare as like bronze rims lol.. everyone had white and silver.. now i see black with polished lip on SUVs Trucks and practically everything. So i decided to go with ALL black rims.. those arent around as much lol cept in stealie form lol

True. There are perhaps 2 car in my area that have a wheels black and with a polished lip. One of the person's I know personally and they painted there... :P

i had black w/polished lip on my black CRX si in 1987...seems people still want that look...so maybe not played..just old school.

I think it looks clean...

i went all black w/ red accents, hence the name "shadow BOXer"... but my wheels are all black. And yes i agree more and more are buyin black wheels.

I've got black on mine and the new ones I'm getting will be black with polished as well. My G/F's yellow XB will have black on it as well. Who cares if others have it, if you like it roll it.

black looks hott on the hava and on the yellow....chrome does it justice 2

Finally bought some black rims for my RS 2.0. I ended up going with the Axis Reverbs (black w/polished lip). Had to get 17"s due to the winters and potholes in the northeast, but hopefully it'll look good with the goldlines. Should have everything put on next Wed.
