Installed subwoofer with switch, tapped the ACC line going into back of stereo as the on/off for the sub.
Rear seat down, I slammed on the breaks and the sub slid forward, ripped the tapped ACC wire and the ground line going to the battery from the sub and shorted with the ground line that goes to the car chassis.

I metered the ACC line going into the back of the stereo and zilch...and it's still 0v with the key turned to ON.

I don't see any fuses blown in my fuse box, not to mention that the lowest one there is 7.5A and I that little wire that supplies to the ACC voltage to the stereo probably wouldn't have carried 7.5A.

So what's the culprit? Where can I check/what part can I replace? I don't think I have an owners manual...going to go look around.

it was the 7.5A ACC fuse in the Instrument Panel Junction Box Lower Finish Panel.
