I'm really lazy, and I don't have much time. So, I know that the dealership is off tha wall expensive because I'm thinking of bringing my xB in to get some goodies in it. Like an intake. Any of you gone back to the dealership after a couple thousand miles to get an intake or a TRD muffler?
Also, I'm having trouble looking for some hubcentrics for my wheels. What size am I supposed to get? If You're wondering, I have 17" Drag Extreme Wheels. (205/40/17)
Cool let me know yall? I wanna look sweet with my xB!!! or... bB hheheheh

my dealer wanted to charge me $175 to install a TRD quickshifter they said it would take 2 hours...
I went home, put it in myself, took 30 mins and a sliced open finger.
i'd do it yourself or take it to a non-dealer shop.

The intake is really easy. If you're from Sac, check out the NVS forum on here. There's some guys in there that can do it for much less and probably have as much experience with aftermarket stuff as the dealer. Any muffler shop can install an axleback. I'd only pay dealership rates for something that ONLY they can do.
As for the HCR's, you need to know what size the centerbore is on your rims. The xB has a 54.1 hub so you need HubCentric Rings that are 54.1 to "fill in your centerbore here"

Thanks guys! I'll check out that other forum. I need those hubcentrics bad because I've been driving with out them for 5000 miles!!! holy!
I don't get the dealership with scions. They sell aftermarket parts but it voids our warranty? What fizz is that?

It's not that cut and dried. The warranty isn't something that is voided as a whole to start with. secondly, they have to be able to show that your aftermarket parts caused the problem. If you have a squeak in your stock suspension, but you added an intake, that won't negate the coverage. If you have a wheel bearing going out and you've got heavy chrome wheels on it, that might not be covered. Slap a turbo on, they most likely won't cover your engine if you blast it, but it should only affect those parts related or connected with the aftermarket add-ons. I hope that makes sense. Do a google search for Magnussen-Moss Act, I believe it's called.

Oh yeah... i forgot. My friend reminded me about the dealership having to find proof that you voided your waranty. Neat.
How much are turbo kits anyway? 5000Gs?
I guess a dc sports muffler or something of the same + an intake will be ok for now HEHE

My dealer installed my AEM intake for $75, they bill at $75/hr. As for the exhaust, do it yourself, 1 bolt and two hangers, good writeup in the tech section.
