Cool ftw ebay cable bushings lol

Just installed these. IMO didn't make much of a noticeable difference but somewhat of a tighter shift feel is present. But for under $10 bux and install was a joke....come on why not?

hmm i highly doubt just because i purchased them off ebay that they are any worse or different then what you purchased from doc. It seems like they play a pretty insignificant role in shift feel IMO. In fact, what makes these https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...cable+bushings different then the ones i purchased off ebay? Maybe the lack of performance gain is in part to me not having a short shifter, i dunno?

Material and the grade of the material will make a huge difference.

Both do the same thing. I noticed a great improvement with my eBay ones. Much more solid shifts. No sloppy mishaps.

yes technically they both do the same...but one will feel different then the other depending on the material that was use to make them

but aren't docs made of hardened plastic? knowing that I would assume metal ones would give you a tighter/stiffer shift feel. If your comparing materials used in the manufacturing process of course.

cool man, they are really easy to install. I noticed a difference as I continued to drive my car. It used to want to pop out of 1st as I was shifting into 2nd but does not anymore. Not a bad way to spend $10.

I got mine from http://www.speed-source.net/ and I noticed a slight difference, if your bushings are worn out you will notice a huge difference if yours aren't then the difference wound be as noticeable. I even replaced the shifter assembly base bushings.
