K_Dawg_ONE 03-16-2005, 09:55 PM Just need whatever HID bulb-type that the headlight uses (h1 or h3 or h7 im guessing) Munch 03-17-2005, 12:01 AM They fit because that's what I have in mine. All you need is a set of 9006 HID bulbs and H4 balasts and you're good to go. Check out the link in my sig for pictures of my HID setup. ksl_redsoxfan 03-17-2005, 01:25 PM i think they might fit Munch 03-17-2005, 01:56 PM http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/800000-800999/800847_10_full.jpg trndmnky 03-17-2005, 02:30 PM Hey Munch ... is the picture with your high beams or low beams on? box4ces 03-17-2005, 02:52 PM http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/800000-800999/800847_10_full.jpg nice! can't wait to get mine and install a HID>>> low beam ,high beam and fog lights.. Mike I just brought the headlights and my friend had a set of HID's that came out of a Maxima. I used the ballasts and brought a set of 9006 bulbs. Wired them up and I was good to go. The Maxima used diffenet bulbs , so I couldn't used them J_A_Trevino 03-17-2005, 11:13 PM http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/800000-800999/800847_10_full.jpg what gauges are those? not your center gauge but the digi ones? also what are the bulb sizes for those projectors, thanks box4ces 03-17-2005, 11:54 PM also what are the bulb sizes for those projectors,thanks[/quote] 9006 low, 9005 high Munch 03-18-2005, 12:02 AM http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/800000-800999/800847_10_full.jpg what gauges are those? not your center gauge but the digi ones? also what are the bulb sizes for those projectors, thanks The gauges are Nordskog Street Series Digital Gauges and the bulb sizes are 9006 for the low beams and 9005 for the high beams. FrankenScion 03-29-2005, 12:19 PM eBay Fujiz_xb 03-29-2005, 01:17 PM yep they sell lots and lots on ebay..prices have dropped on them. FrankenScion 03-29-2005, 01:20 PM yep they sell lots and lots on ebay..prices have dropped on them. They are like half the price they were when I bought them. I'm going to replace mine as soon as some good high quality lights come out without the silly led's. j0n 03-30-2005, 04:07 AM should of kepted your stock ones.......and upgraded the bulbs..... windowtint 03-30-2005, 05:01 AM or.... open them up and delete the 3 LED ports with a little body work. There -- LED's all gone. FrankenScion 03-30-2005, 11:41 AM or.... open them up and delete the 3 LED ports with a little body work. There -- LED's all gone. I'm not that talented and that doesn't help with the quality issues. TXboxdriver 03-31-2005, 12:58 PM like the lens overlapping the fenders..... or having to rotate the LF bulbs to clear the battery and fuse box not to mention the overal TIGHT fitment I had to loosen both fenders, install lights, tighten fenders then install bumper but they look good and the Halo's are fun ksl_redsoxfan 03-31-2005, 02:24 PM i hope it all works out because it will be nice J_A_Trevino 04-04-2005, 01:56 AM go you all's halo's fog up? mine are soooooooooooo fogged up right now its rediculous. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v474/_666_jesus_999_/scion/fog2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v474/_666_jesus_999_/scion/fog.jpg if you all have had this problem, how did you fix it? thought about siliconeing it but im not sure where its leaking in from and its on the actual projector lenses too. Munch 04-04-2005, 01:58 AM Drill a few holes in the bottom of the headlights. It fixed my fogging problem :lalala: J_A_Trevino 04-04-2005, 02:03 AM thanks for the advice, i might give it a try. windowtint 04-04-2005, 02:55 AM many of you with the bad fogging problems also may not have the bulbs completely seated either, allowing a lot of humid air into the housing. The side markers on the dual halos are a very tight fit and may SEEM like they are in - when in fast they can go in further THEN twist-lock into place. on the dual halos, there is a small hole under each of the 4 projector assemblies where the halo wires exit, also allowing moist air into the housing. either drill holes as Munch says, or just run the headlights until the heat evaporates the fogging (which is the OEM suggestion on foggy OEM headlights) There is nothing you can do to ever 110% seal a headlight housing, just doesn't happen - and if you DID manage it, it would all be lost soon as you changed a bulb. j0n 04-04-2005, 03:23 PM damn i never had that problem just a lil moisture but thats about it .... aireck 04-05-2005, 05:54 AM mine used to fog up but not that bad.... just a lil lower right corner on the left headlight. switched bulbs and that went away! DoWopBx 04-26-2005, 04:44 AM Just got my new Dual Halo projectors for my xB from assembleweb and have a few questions: What all has to be removed to install them? Bumper? Grille? Do I need to run load redistors for the LEDs or are they already built in? Is it better to try and seal them completely or drill the holes as others have done? J_A_Trevino 04-26-2005, 04:47 AM i dont know but one of my halo's stopped working and im ____ed! FrankenScion 04-26-2005, 11:58 AM Just got my new Dual Halo projectors for my xB from assembleweb and have a few questions: What all has to be removed to install them? Bumper? Grille? Yes you have to remove bumper and grill. Do I need to run load redistors for the LEDs or are they already built in? I didn't and they work fine. Is it better to try and seal them completely or drill the holes as others have done? I would try to seal them completely. j0n 04-26-2005, 08:30 PM Just got my new Dual Halo projectors for my xB from assembleweb and have a few questions: What all has to be removed to install them? Bumper? Grille? Do I need to run load redistors for the LEDs or are they already built in? Is it better to try and seal them completely or drill the holes as others have done? hey thats who i bought mine from he was real good and i got might lights without delay but mine where around $325 in all when they first came out now there down in the 125's. my lights work fine no problems halo's work good led's work awesome and i didnt seal it up or drill holes because i really dont have the fogging up issue..... CharzXBee 05-31-2005, 03:37 PM be careful with getting them on ebay.. i got mine and they fogged.. also, the ebayer said that they were DOT legal and there is no DOT marking on the lights at all.. look out!! FrankenScion 05-31-2005, 06:34 PM It doesn't matter where you get them from. They are all made by the same company. CharzXBee 06-02-2005, 05:56 PM so how can one company sell them for $90 and another company sell them for $400? FrankenScion 06-02-2005, 06:04 PM Behold, the power of eBay. firesquare 06-03-2005, 04:58 AM these lights own! do you really have to take them apart to seal them or can you just seal the seams with a little love and care? i have this thig about putting car parts in the oven :-\ makes me egey EVILDAVE 06-03-2005, 06:48 AM I paid $59.00 on ebay for mine and I wash my car every week with high pressure and they are still fine. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v211/EVILDAVE666/headlighsWeapon-R003.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v211/EVILDAVE666/headlighsWeapon-R002.jpg firesquare 06-03-2005, 12:18 PM EvilDave with the super clean TCM  Kid_bB 07-15-2005, 01:09 AM hope this isnt repetative, im pretty new to all this. So if i buy the $60 pair off ebay, or the $160 pair.....they are the exact same dual projectors? no differance what so ever? FrankenScion 07-15-2005, 01:12 AM hope this isnt repetative, im pretty new to all this. So if i buy the $60 pair off ebay, or the $160 pair.....they are the exact same dual projectors? no differance what so ever? Correct. firesquare 07-15-2005, 07:20 AM yeah thir the same. but since their release, th prices have come down, search with a fine tooth comb to get the price you want. i saw a set for 61.50, shipping was 45 bucks. and all you do when you get them is reseal them and get new bulbs or HID lo beams. Kid_bB 07-15-2005, 02:33 PM sorry still new at this. how would i go about re-sealing them? Where is the best place to pick up some HID lights? firesquare 07-15-2005, 04:07 PM you can check out HIDs in the sponsored section once you hit over 50 total post. for the resealing, you can do the ovon method and get some silacone and reseal them from there. check th e gallery for people with the dual haloes. most of them resealed them. give those people a pm and ask around. BoughettiXB 07-30-2005, 02:59 AM Sigh... well I just got my projectors and I put em' in and everything but they just don't look fit... as in the bumper seems to be sinking down some and around the headlight housing it just doesn't seem snug.. is this with everyone? Just doesn't look right to me. Oh and will the Luminic bulbs be fine to replace them with? Thanks FrankenScion 07-30-2005, 03:02 AM Luminics or Silverstars. And, yes the fitment is an issue with most people. BoughettiXB 07-30-2005, 03:37 AM How is it just with MOST and not just all or none? FrankenScion 07-30-2005, 03:39 AM Cause I don't know everybody. BoughettiXB 07-30-2005, 03:55 AM Ah I see then.. your just making an assumption... mmk FrankenScion 07-30-2005, 04:01 AM I'm going off of personal experience.
