Ok so, hypothetical situation.
Say you go out and buy a car. You also do a trade-in, this trade-in has a lien on it.
Weeks pass by, lien is not paid off, dealership seems to have no info on if or when it will happen.
At what point does this become any sort of breach of the 'standard' sales contract?
I know the owner of the new car is also taking this car into another dealer for work on the idle and transmission, so there is a possible lemon law building up....but this issue of paying off the trade has me stumped.
Figured I've seen a number of folks here that work with or at dealerships... so... thoughts?
