You should be running 15.3 and better. Unless you are new to the drag racing scene. Make sure you have 1/4 of gas in the car. Lower your front tire to about 27psi(any lower than 25psi can cause the tire to fall of the rim, depending on tire and rim selection. But stock don't go under that) and raise the rear tires to about 35-38psi. Raising the rear tire pressure helps with rollout. I ran 15.311 @91.6mph stock. Your 60' should be 2.2 or better. Set a goal for mph and try to get that. Don't redline the car either. Shift @ 5800-5900rpm. I am going back may 22nd and plan to run 15.0 or better with a cold air intake, remove my passenger seat/spare tools, spare tire, and my trd quickshifter. I am sure I can achieve my goal, but a 14.9 is my ultimate goal for now.
To get a baseline time. I mean yes, I might have squeezed a few tenths off my time if I had launched it really hard, but I wasn't trying to grenade a transmission like I did in my tC1.
I wasn't taking offense to your post sir, just a little e-thuggery ;)

I ran the same times back in march when the track just opended up. I ran at least 10x's times starting from high 15's. @86.xx and down to 15.4 @89.xx. I at the same time was getting use to the car, by launching, learning where to shift @ certain rpms.
I was spinning, and even mis-shifting @ times. The throws are just long, and it took time to adjust. Then went back a week later, and after a few runs I got consistent 15.3's. And your not that far off from a 2.2 60' either. I am not bashing, but with an improved launch, you should def get into the mid 15's and below. I change my tranny oil days prior to track days since that is the most stressful part of the car when racing in any type of event. Good luck and have fun.

ok so I went and ran a best of 15.81 @ 86.95 mph only got 4 runs in by the time they closed the track biggest problem is traction when launching with the stock setup anything above 2.5 rpm you got a problem i lowered my tire pressure down
to 26 psi but when i learned how the car works they closed the track the entire time i was running a 06 si with 200 whp & 150 trq dynojet i/h/e and k pro his best was 15 flat newbie and couple of 350zs ran from 14.5 to 15.4 that i went with but mustan gts low 14s and I am not new to drag racing my teg used to run high 13s and my brothers civic runs 11s
