Default New Black tC2 6MT Owner

Hello!

tC2 owner here... Black, 6MT, TRD exhaust.

I ordered my tC2 on 1/1/11 and picked it up on 1/7/11. I tried to avoid getting sucked into the forums this time around, but that didn't last long - I love what I drive and I can't leave anything as-is. I signed up some time ago and have been lurking around watching myself slowly slide down the tC2 seniority list... so here I am!

Below is the only pic I have so far. Hopefully, I can get a day when it's clean and not raining so I can take some proper photos:

Very nice, I also have a black 6sp. Hard as hell to keep clean, more so than other black cars I think...

I got some shots in before the rain. There are a few basic and cheap mods to show:

Taillights look good!
I think I might smoke the reverse light too after seeing yours.

The car is looking great... and the first I have noticed to have the reverse smoked.
But one thing I do wonder about..
- How did you restick the rear emblem...
- and did you paint the area behind the rear emblem. It looks a lot less glossy than the rest of the car.
The reason I ask is because I haven't found a double sided tape thin enough that you cannot notice it... and I scratched the heck out of my car... in haste... to get the sticky from the emblem off. Just behind the emblem though. Thank god. lol

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I just masked around the outside of the emblems and sprayed them with Plast-dip while on the car

Yes, I did paint inside the the emblem, but that can be picked out anytime if I choose to.

I stumbled on this idea over at Club Lexus... check it out:

I was going to try to do the plasti-dip trick on my rear emblem to cover up my scratches I made taking it off... but I do not feel like ordering plasti-dip online cause i'm impatient. So I'ma just stick the emblem back on there scratches and all.. will add character ;p

Any updates within the past week? And how did you make that TRD plate replacement, if I may ask? It looks professionaly manufactured! Great job on it!
