Default A/V Help

I am wanting to buy a flipdown monitor for my XB and would like to try the install myself. Are you getting the power for this from the overhead light or somewhwere else? Kind of nervous about cutting up a new car, so want install to be as painless as possible!

Should always get power for anything from the ignition column or the battery itself. That way you dont drain anything else in the car from the power it requires. Just put a fused wire off the ign. wire in the ignition column should only need a 10amp for a overhead and dvd player.
