So, do you know of a better option for a better price? Everything else I have seen has cheap printed faces that don't transmit light through the indicators properly and the light showing through the printed area makes them look home-made. If it is the only option for people looking for quality the price is fair.

Does the 149 price include LEDs if I were to do this myself?

I bought my lights off eBay, 50 for $10. Paid a TV repair shop to solder them in for $30. And I bought an OEM quality completely custom (with pics I chose) gauge face from Brian at NOKOASTCUSTOMS. Im not sure if he is still doing them but I got it for $70. All together I paid $110.

We don't sell neo wedge bulb, since they are so dim..
We use custom high power ( using four 3-chip LED) for the HVAC climate control..

How much just for the full install kit? Because your in CA and LV......and I am not. :p

How much of a PITFA is it to rip apart the dash to put this stuff in?

Looks good, but that price is kinda steep just for lights.

DIY Kit
- Custom gauge face : $150 ($30 for extra matching inserts for climate control/automatic shifter)
- Gauge cluster LED conversion kit : $20-$40
- Climate control : $30 (Custom high power Four 3-Chip LED module and LED for the indicator)
- LED for airbag : Free with order
- Steering wheel : Free with order
- Power windo : Free with order

Take them apart is easy, soldering part is PITA

$350 will include every single lights, custom gauge face, installation (so it's most complete package you can get)
Also custom gauge face is custom made to each customer, so I put in a lot of my personal time into each customer's customization requests.

You have the option to send out your parts over the mail for installation, if you are not familiar with soldering/installation

Would love something that looked like the Autometer Cobalt series...

all i can say about LEDmod is his pictures and website speak for itself, sure its spendy but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. i havent purchased a thing from LEDmod yet but even so he has me as a future and loyal customer. i cant wait to have him do my custom guage face.

i think i talked to you before about the RGB idea.

also can you do the Prindle card as well? or do you just do the climate controls and guage face? i hate having red and green in my prindle because my LEDs wont light them up

all i have to say to Dark Gecko is:

hey if you can find somewhere thats cheaper. power to ya man. its your car and its totally up to you where you buy your mods. im sure LEDmod doesnt mind if you DONT buy from him in fact he may be curious to see it. but it would be a courteous thing though not to go bashing someones business that works and that others respect. its not a rip off. especially for the convenience of having everything in one place. besides what good is a business if you dont make a profit? the soldering is not easy at all. trust me. especially soldering PLCC2 leds. i can solder 1206 way easier and they are a LOT smaller. ive been soldering for years doing some crazy stuff with LEDs and custom props. its a hard learned skill so him offering to do it in my personal experience for the price he is asking is very reasonable. but hey if you can solder yourself. thats awesome! the more you do yourself the more pride you have in your car.

If you order the inserts for the climate control, you'll get the PRINDLE for free...
