I am running with 215/45/17 Yoko Es 100's with Nakayama 6-speed 17in rims with 42mm offset. I am on stock springs with absolutly no rubbing under harsh driving conditions.

My question, I only have maybe a quarter inch space between the rim/tire and the frame of the car. Is this protentially bad? Again there is no rubbing or sounds but the rim/tire is really close.

My second question, does lowering the XB have any effect on the offset of the tire? So if I were to purchase the TRD 1in lowering springs would it rub?

Answers please...

Funny note, my local dealership wanted $480.00 for TRD springs install with out parts. funny funny.

thanks
Max

Check out the rear spacer shims at www.onetongarage.com

They'll add 10mm to the rear, don't affect your wheel studs and will help to flush out your rims to the outer edge in addition to giving you better clearance. Van's a great guy and makes these specifically for the xB/xA
