Default hookin up my dual 4ohm sub to alpine mrd-m501

I just got my diamond audio d6 sub and built my enclosure today. My question is which way do I want to wire it to my alpine mrd-m501? And how do i do so? temporarily, im just gonna drill a hole and stick the wire thru and then later on, ill get some terminals on the outside.

It looks like it's 2 ohm stable into one channel so you will want to wire it in parallel. Simply connect the + output on the amp to both + inputs on the speaker and the - output on the amp to both - inputs on the speaker. You can use a short piece of wire to connect the inputs together on the speaker so you only have two wires going to the amp instead of four. Looks like a killer amp. Enjoy

I have the little brother to that amp (the mrd-m301) and i love it, and always heard great things about your sub. just make sure you take the time to tune your amp correctly and it should sound incredible!

im confused, i want to hook this up today! lol... I have one speaker wire (+, -) ran from the amp directly to inside the sub box. Now what do I do? There is no way the terminals on the sub will accept two 10 gauge wires..

you need a wire to go from each of the positive terminals to eachother, then a wire from one positive terminal to the positive terminal on the amp. Do the same for the negatives.
