Scion brass won't speculate on when the iQ will actually be launched, which makes sense since Toyota (http://www.autoblog.com/make/toyota/) hasn't yet figured out when it can resume a full production schedule post-earthquake. The current word is that North America's iQ might not hit dealers until early 2012. This postponement marks the second time Scion has delayed the iQ's launch, and the third time the company has reportedly changed its mind about the car's on-sale timing (http://green.autoblog.com/2009/08/17/pulled-ahead-scion-dealers-saying-iq-headed-for-u-s-in-2010/).

I was hoping the IQ would be eligible for the college grad discount like the XD and XB. It looks like by the time it gets here that promo will have expired though.
