I guess it's just me, but I can't stand the dull color of the stock exhaust. The RS 7.0 gave me the idea to go black... Just sharing.

Does the Rs7 come with black exhaust? I have not seen that picture.

 

I don't think it comes black, but on my screen it looks black and when you rotate/360 the tC it looks black... thus gave me the idea!! Go to the link below and rotate the tC with your mouse.

This mod is super easy. Just use a high temp black/flat spray paint (I like the one used on BBQ grills cuz it's flat black and not shinny) and spray paint it. Just cover the crome tip and bumper with newspapers. I only did the front and sides of the exhaust and pipe. Couldn't reach the back side, but you can't see the back anyway.

This high temp paint holds very well. I did the same on my last car and took over 3 years before any touch ups.

 

The exhaust has a dull bare metal finish, just looked at pics I took of one at the dealer a ways back.

Nope. Just to the rear tires. you won't see it. I really want the HKS exhaust, but it won't be for a while.......

 

This is the RS 7.0 exhaust. Just silver. Awesome that ChicagoKid got the inspiration from it though.
