Hi,
could LED bulbs be used as parking lights??
I ask cuz I heard the LED's will like melt/burn b/c of the heat from the lo beam bulb.
THANKS!

Are you talking about LED alone, or the 194 bulbs retrofitted with LED's, made specifically to be used in such cases. . . I believe those have been tweaked a bit to accomodate the heat, but I'm not sure. Considering today's wonderful (crap) manufacturing processes, they may not be of high quality. It's a legitamate question. I've seen em cheap, so you could test it out and check on em after a couple hours? One thing's for sure, if you run high wattage bulbs, you'll be melting something, with time. In that scenario, I'd stick with regular incandescent hyperwhite bulbs to be safe.

I've heard that they burn out real quick.

Yes, LED bulbs can be used in the parking lights, and no, they do not burn out particularly quickly. I have had mine in since August, and while I had to take one out shortly after installing it because it was defective and only half of the LEDs in the cluster lit up, other than that, I haven't had any problems with them burning out.
