Default Interesting phone call I just got from Scion

Company calling to find out about my new scion. Here is how it goes.
Scion: Can I speak to Steve or Stacey please,
Me: this is Steve, how can I help you?
Scion: we are calling to find out some information on your new scion purchase, can I take about 10 minutes of your time?
Me: Sure, go ahead.
Scion: was the delivery of the vehicle from the dealership satisfactory?
Me: No, it had a few scratches on it, but the dealer has already taken care of them.
Scion: What has the dealer done to take care of this for you?
Me:..............Um, it has already been handled.
Scion, have you spoken with a manager to take care of this issue?
Me: Are you listening to me or reading from a piece of paper? I already said it was taken care of.
Scion: sorry about that sir, so has the issue been resolved?
Me: OK man, listen to the words coming out of my mouth for the 3rd time, it has been handled, do not ask me again.
Scion, sorry sir, so has the issue been handled?
Me, ____ off, goodbye!!!
Maybe they should get people that listen, and not just read from a script!!!!!

LMAO! Unfortunately my feedback would have been mixed about the dealership I got my car from. Next time I'll drive an hour to another dealership with better service, or get a car if it's a Toyota brand.

I hope the salesman you bought your Scion from was a total jerk, because the way you responded to that "attempted" survey just cost him about 50% of his commission. Most dealerships are rated by manufacturers (and it can even affect their allotment of cars) based on the Customer Survey Index of satisfaction, so the dealerships penalize the sales force for anything but a perfect score in an attempt to motivate them to do the best job possible.

Yes, the survey taker was reading off a script, they are required to for consistency purposes to minimize the possibility that they influence your answer in any way. That way they get more accurate data.

BTW, I did think the story was funny.
