Alright well I researched Fabulous body kits and looked into them alot, many thanks to you guys. Found out things that go wrong how to go around this what to do etc. The one thing i didnt do is research the people I was purchasing this from. I ordered the body kit and they sell it off as being a complete just paint and put on. Well excited after recieving the kit I run down to my buddies shop with my car open the box up and BAM! Pure Raw Fiberglass. Nothing else this kit now with all the prep work that needs to be done is going to be. We totaled it up and with my discount on parts and man hours its still goinig to run 2000 dollars just to put the kit on when if you buy stock parts its only 700. Just to let you know make sure that if your buying a body kit to get one that is all prepared for application. a poly eurothane kit etc..... if anyone else has experienced this let me know thanks! :nails:

FYI most kits purchased that ar fiberglass will require prepping, and will require work to make it fit if it's not the original. Even the original needs to be prepped and painted.
If your "buddy" is to paint it for you for $2000, he isn't a buddy. Basic paint and labor for a kit should be around $1000 if it's a super good place, and $500 if it's the getto, paint and apply deal.
I know your not happy, but buying bodykits isn't as easy as 123 as most people think. I repeat "all body kits that are not painted will require work and sometime customization to fit". Should of bought it from B-tune, they selling it for $800 painted + shipping here

For a $600 kit, you got a steal. For $600 you ain't (ain't ain't a word) going to get clips and screws. Remember if you was to buy the orignal kit, it would of cost you $2000.
What are you talking about polyeurothane? That's a type of material that bumpers and stuff are made of. Actually it's sometimes worst to have aftermarket Poly kits, cause if didn't fit you can't modify the kit (bondo doesn't stick as well).
For the Fiberglass kit, for $600 shipped to you, I wouldn't complain a bit, cause shipping alone would of been $200 roughly, so you only paid about $400 for a kit, which is dirt cheap.
Painting a poly kit, and painting a fiber kit should be the same. The only difference is the poly kit will require a flex agent(must) so that the paint will adhere, where the fiber kit doesn't really need it (cheap painting).
BTW screws and bolts, and double sided tape is cheap, and wouldn't cost more then $50 in supplies so if the kit doesn't require that much fitment, then it should be a $800 paint job.
Why don't you take the kit, and bring it around a few places to check installation prices? wouldn't hurt. You might find a better price on the install.

That is one of the worst recommendations I have ever heard cuz you totally go back on what you say. $500 for a ghetto ___ paintjob and then he should have bought it from btuned for $800 painted and shipped. You do realize that you are paying for a $200 paintjob for a kit that has more waves than the beach.
And $500 is the usual price for a good paintjob, $1000 is for showcar ____ with absolutely no imperfections in a bodykit but the Fab kit shouldn't be more than $700 tops cuz you gotta shave the rear bumper and thats a VERY simple job and would run $100 tops.

You all are very helpful but can you just put this on paint it once put in the brackets and call it good? I Mean dont you have to do alot of cutting... Molding.... screwing and etc? I guess im not really informed on the overall install. Thanks

Depends on how anal you will be about it.
I'm pretty anal about bodywork on my car. I will spend that $1000-3000 to do it right, but you get what you pay for. Knowing the reasonable market value is your best education. Knowing what you get for the work done is also valuable.
I like to get it done right the first time, instead of getting it redone, or saying I got a crappy job. If you want it done right, spend money to modifiy it...don't mold the kit to the car, as it'll be bad for longevity.
Yes, may require cutting, molding, screwing, and etc if it's a crappy kit. But then you paid $600, so it's a decent kit, might require a little work.
