Ok so i decided im going to buy some black housing projectors off ebay for 200 bucks or so

Now my question is, do i need to buy some HID ballasts off another car? go to the junkyard etc etc. then buy 9006 blubs for lows and 9005 for highs or can i just get a near HID feel from using a little bit less powerful blub. like 8500. Any help at all or any poisitive information to help me out would be greatly appreciated

first off ... putting an hid kit into those projectors is going to be a WASTE .. the beam pattern of those projectors is garbage .. but that aside

if you MUST have hids ... get yourself a KIT for whatever bulb type the particular housing uses... that should be plug and play

you also might wanna read around here ... the quality of those headlights is TRASH .. they have massive leaking issues and one kid even had the angel eye fall apart INSIDE the headlight

Those have issues with fogging also. There really isn't a good high quality replacement out for our lights yet.
Btw, I have the first lights you were talking about. Check my profile for pics.
