what is the point of exhust tips is it just for show??? or what be honest here and none of this now :flame: :wink:

I had one on my XB. Strictly show. The right tip can set off rims nicely and for those of us that can't afford or don't want to mess with a stock exhaust system, it's a nice option.

I wouldn't pay for the factory exhaust tip option... but I could see wanting the rusty, small pipe coming out the back of your car to look good by adding some sort of cover.

I haven't decided which cat or axle back to go with at this time, so I opted for a ARC 4 inch Carbon Fiber exhaust tip to match my CF Hood w/ scoop & CF rear spoiler & the CF gas door applique. I try to scatter the CF evenly to flow through w/ my xB.
And w/ the CF exh. tip, it accentuate's it very nicely.

I got the tip from the toyota on ebay for about $50.... looks nice, I didnt want the sound of a loud exhaust(I have other cars for that haha) so it works out nice.
