View Full Version : GT SPEC rear strut bar sponge_man69 03-20-2005, 08:07 AM this have any benefit in handling??? DarkBoxJr 03-20-2005, 09:04 AM Probably not, since it mounts to the strut mounting and not the entire tower. hotbox05 03-20-2005, 11:52 AM It barely does anything , yes it helps stiffen the rear , but it barely does so. not worth the exorbinate price , try the ebay one both have the exact same end results just a huge price difference. DGTLLVR 03-20-2005, 06:36 PM Well... seeing as how there aren't rear struts on the car. I'd have to say it does zero for handling and is +1 for ricerness. If you buy a rear strut bar for an xA or xB you are a complete idiot. Lay on your back and look under your car... Do you see a strut? No. You see a swing arm that needs no stiffening. When they make a bolt in rear swing arm kit that makes it stiffer, you might consider that, but until then, leave the ricer stuff alone.[/url] sponge_man69 03-21-2005, 01:27 AM whats with the attitude??? sorry for not been a genius like u :loser: dgHotLava 03-21-2005, 01:54 AM actually if you had looked...you will see shocks in there. what is a strut? a shock plus spring... swing arm, solid axle or torsion beam does not make a diff to the top of the strut / shock. do you complain about people using bars up front... |
