I've been wanting to do an engine swap for a long time, but I want to know if anyone has done a sucessful engine swap yet. The engine bay in my xB looks kinda big, maybe big enough for atmost a 2.0lt.


I understand the reason of small, so I wonder...

1.6lt Mini Cooper S engine?

1.8lt Celica engine?

any other small engines that may fit?

ofcourse, no matter what engine I swap it with, it'll prob. be extremely expensive. :money:

The 1.8 liter Celica engine has been done, I beleive, but it takes extensive modification/cutting. I wouldn't even think about a non-Toyota motor honestly.

The engine bay isn't as big as you think.
