Default New Wheels finally !

Okay, I had been debating on what style and what rims I wanted. I liked a couple from TSW which I was originally gonna go with but after seeing some people running them and not sure how tight the fit would be with my ride height, I had decided on what style I was gonna be ie....VIP, racer boy or what. So I went with a wheel I have loved since I first started seeing them on GTI's....you got it, BBS made Huff Detroit wheels 18 X 7.5 and 225/40/18 yokohama s-drive tires(used), e.t 51 with 3/4' thick adapters(courtesy of motorsport tech) in front and 1' in the rear (courtesy of somewhere else), I got the tires and tpms mounted today and bolted the wheels up. So here you go enjoy....

i look at pics first and gti was the first thing that came to mind. they look more sporty on the gti, but still look good on your xb. nice and flush with those adapters. do you have much exp with adapters? ive thought about using them before, but nobody i know had used them so i couldnt get an opinion. any problems, concerns, opinions about using them?

I would say if you are going to get adapters, get them from motorsport-tech.com, great customer service and they make them hub centric to your car and the wheel, they know their stuff. And they were only like 15 dollars more then the other set of adpters I got, which are nice, but they aren't hub centric, though the lugs they provide make the adpters sit right. Just motorsport tech has a lifetime warranty.

They are too flush, gonna have to roll fenders in the rear or get a slimmer adapters like the front. Cause I don't want to crank the coil overs up...lol

They are actually made by BBS, it is stamped in the rim on the back side, and it isn't something you can put there or erase without a grinder.
