Default Water meth nozzle placement ?

Where is thebbest spot . Is it on top of the pipe nozzle straight down about 5 in from throttle body ? Or on side of pipe or under with nozzle spraying up ? . Should it be in the middle of the pipe about 10 in from the throttle body , Does anyone have pics ?

Default Meth on stock block

My vehicle currently runs Meth/water setup just fine on a stock block. With the help of Paul at DEZOD I was able to tweak my tune on my APR unit to run at 11.5 AFR @ 12-13 pounds on my stock block no problems. I would recommend changing oil every 1500 miles or less. I usually run a custom blend of 3 conventional and 1 full synth of oil. Before I deployed I filled up the Meth/water tank and changed my oil so the Mrs. wouldn't run out when she drives it once a week for me.

If you don't have an APR unit then FIC works good too. I have mine set to run right after 5 psi. I had a machine shop custom make a nozzle for me only because it seemed like the nozzles that came with my kit were either too big or too small. If you are going through with this setup I recommend getting an EGT monitor or gauge and make sure it doesn't cool you down too much. I like to sit around 1500 under full boost. Talk to paul about getting a setup that is right for you. I only say talk to DEZOD because they actually took extra time to look my setup over. I am also overseas so they also shipped to me. Others not so much.

Either way talk to someone who knows the math really well. I can honestly say I haven't had any visible detonation on my charts and a decent power gain. I also run regular pump gas which is mid grade here. They don't sell anything less than mid. Oh and I'd opt for a progressive controller which allows you to increase with load. This is my next step on my alcohol system. Good luck either way!
