I'm assuming it's a 5Zigen Fireball imitation instead of the real one. I ask b/c the price's so tempting but yet I don't know anything about it. Any help would be appreciated, thx!

Looks promising! You can definately pay waaay more for something else. Post pics and a sound clip when you get it.

 

Ok I emailed the seller asking a couple questions & he responded back very quickly...It's not an actual 5Zigen Fireball (Too good to be true for that price, lol). So my dilemma...Buy this for $170 & take a chance on the fit/finish/sound or spend an extra $80 to get the real deal. If I buy it then I'll mos def take pics. Hmm....

 

fit and finish should be good , sound slightly loud with the silencer removed but low and nice(should be)

 

Thx for the info! Do you have this exhaust or have u heard it in person? I'm trying to figure out what it sounds like compared to the authentic 5Zigen Fireball version.

 

I'm just judging it againt 90% of all canister type exhausts on xB's

 

I ask b/c I had a 5Zigen Fireball exhaust on my old Civic & it was really quiet (Which I really liked). My friend bought an imitation that looked similiar to it for his Civic & it was insanely rice loud. Thus, I just wanted to know if anyone has heard of this specific exhaust to see if it's insanely loud or quiet like the 5Zigen Fireball I had, that's all.

 

It looks like the JIC exhaust I purchased.
The JIC is deep toned but can be loud at certain rpms.

 

buy that thing if you want it to sound like ___, and look like a retard doing down the road. spend a little more and get some quality products

Have you heard & seen this particular product in person? If yes on both accounts then don't read the rest of this post...It's stupid & wasted comments like yours I'm trying to avoid since you have no experience w/it. I'll "spend a little more" when I feel I need to. After all, I didn't spend $2600 on a full cat-back exhaust for the M3 for no reason.

On a brighter note...Does anyone have the authentic 5Zigen Fireball exhaust for an xB? If yes, then how's it sound like, fit/finish? Thx!

look bottom line is, its 170 bucks and its from ebay. spend 100 more dollars and get it done right the first time. strup makes a nice one for under 300 and precision muffler makes a nice one too for about 250

 

no offense to you xmetalx... but what makes it not done right the first time? since its from ebay its not quality? the way i look at it, if you save even $60 by buying this over stylis' set up, then why not?

 

dude its the same friggen deal as those projector tail lights that sell for 200 bucks, its trashy half fast garbage, i bet the welds are crappy, its probably very low grade steel, and last but not least its a canister with a silencer lol RICE RICE BABY

 

eh your opinion i suppose. ill probably end up going with it eventually. maybe your right xmetalx. i apologize if i am wrong. i was just hoping someone else could be the guinea pig instead of me im not wanting to start anything, but you realize by making fun of silencers, you just slammed on every xB RS 2.0 owner thats exactly what their mufflers have, silencers
