LOW IDLE/ENGINE STALL~~HELP!
This is my first time on here and I'm hoping someone can help me out with my problem. I have an '06 Scion tC with a manual transmission. I have a little over 85k miles on it. When I come to a stop, my rpms drop to around 300 and half the time will stall the engine. I took it to my mechanic today and he said I needed to replace the idle air control valve but I learned that scions do not have these. Any suggestions on what could be wrong? Any feedback would be GREAT! Or if you know of any other place I should post a thread in the forums that might get some attention please let me know because, like I said, this is my first time on here. Thanks in Advance!
The idle air control valve? Maybe the mass airflow sensor (maybe he meant the same thing). If you're getting the dropping idle and stalling without check engine lights, you might want to have the fuel regulator and/or fuel pump checked. If you haven't had the fuel filter changed or have the injectors cleaned, it might be time to bundle all them into one thing.
Hope this is any help.
