whats the difference between the super and basic??

Basic the entry level coil and has only ride height adjustment.

Super Street is there next step up on quality and offers both ride height AND dampening adjustment. This set also includes pillow ball mounts, which offers more camber adjustment on the setup.

Can you post a photo of that pillow mount? I'd like to see how they made it so caster can be adjusted...

That is only one direction...you can only adjust the camber. To be able to adjust the castor, you will also need to be able to move it 90 degrees to the first adjustment. Since there are three bolts to the chassis, there is no way to make it so that you would not have camber adjustment and only have castor adjustment...this is smelling like false advertising...or not knowing the product.

It is only camber, and a simple human mistake was made out of haste on my part. Thanks for pointing that out. Yesterday was a CRAZY day here. Is it Friday yet?:biggrin:

I also corrected my previous post as well. Great attention to detail. Thank you.

Edit: One last thing, we would never intentionally mislead a customer for a sale. That may be the tactic of some other competitors, but that goes against every principal this company stands for.

Thanks for posting the photos… I led you into that… thanks for playing along.

I also know that the complexity required to have adjustability in two planes increases by an order of magnitude. Just making such a statement got my attention…like right now! Having adjustability in one plane is plenty good, even for racing. Having the capability of adjusting caster would be fine, but not required unless you are drifting. And since this is a FWD car, that point is moot!

I’ve never had the privilege of fondling a TEIN product, but from what I’ve been able to read, it sounds like a product I would like on my car…

P.S. TGIF – doesn’t it mean Tongue Goes In First?

TGIF means Thank God It's Friday.

Glad to see we are all alive and thinking on the right plateaus on this lovely Tuesday morning.... :silly:
