Fri-Sun. What time and where is everyone planning on meeting. I will be leaving Big Rapids sometime after noon and it will take about 3 hours to get down to you guys.

We (Scott and Sandy) are heading down with Justin (Detroit tC), we are meeting in Taylor at Telegraph and Eureka at a 7-11 gas station and leaving at 5:30 a.m. and heading out from there. If anyone else is interested post it up so we know to wait for you.

this is it ladies and gentlemen! the warm-up before the big show...exposed is coming up soon, and were all totally pumped! but first, lets show em what we got at the 28th street road cruise! saturday august 27th 10 am. allen from big rapids will be waiting for us to help em have a good turnout at the toyota/scion dealership in grand rapids. this show will be just like the jackson road cruise in ann arbor, trophies ( i heard theyre huge!), music, food, and alot of awesome scion enthusiests like ourselves. its a friday-saturday event with thousands of people, muscle cars, imports, bikes and best of all scions! where will you be? take off work, skip school, feed the cows later...no excuses! we also have a couple of new members meeting us there.

so our plan is to meet at my place, (since its on the way) at 6:30am. we will be departing at 7am on the dot! if you cant be here by then, catch up or meet us there! call or text myself or medic aka jeremy for details.

Friday we go down and eat dinner there in Xenia, afterwards, we are going to hit up the carwash and get a majority of the stuff done to the cars then hit the hotels/couches/backseats and rest up. We want to take over the local carwash in the morning and finish up any last detailing, washing, waxing that we can (all the while playing music getting pumped and meeting others rolling in to wash their cars. 07:30am we roll out to hit the gates before they open. 8am registration and gates open, register, roll in, setup, hit the swag tables (hard!) and then hit the strip at 08:30. Its going to go by soooo quick, so dont miss out! For all those who dont want to risk the possibility of showing up late going down saturday and want to go down late friday, Sara Edwards is leaving at 7pm and would love to drive down with others.

Was supposed to be at the car wash and then we all roll in together as a team. But Justin made it sound like you all werent going to make it till 9. anyway you all could leave to make it so we can roll in together? Sara is leaving friday around 7 or later because she has work, if thats a feasible option. We are sending out lots of couch surfing requests so any others who accept our request we'll ask if they mind that a team member crashes at their house fri night and sat night as the event goes on until almost 9 (not that we have to stay the whole time)

So txt me if money for accomidations are an issue and I can start looking for a free place for you to stay (not guaranteed but we'll try our damndest lol)

ladies and gents we have a problem...i have a problem...putting my new headers on today, thought i would have a problem getting them off, but that went smoothly. torquing the new ones on to spec. snapped a bolt off in the head. ( @$#^$&$*#&$*) yea this is not good. i wont be able to take them off and get a good look until monday. im hoping there is enough bolt sticking out that i can get some vice grips on there or something to remove the bolt. otherwise i get ONE chance to drill and extract it out of the head. also did i mention that its on the back of the motor so its a blind shot, using mirrors or whatever i can to make this happen. on top of that, hopefully my new header doesnt warp especially since the stock one is pretty much garbage. wish me luck... i really hope this wont effect my trip to exposed!

depending on what she's after, the trd muffler thats on it sounds decent already plus with the body kit has that notch in the middle, you'll have to keep a center exit exhaust. I think a double tip muffler would look good, I think a single outlet fart can would make it look like it has a jet engine.

What I can do is text you when we are leaving, and call you when we get to the border. I dont think we will be hauling ___ in Toledo (hint hint Justin) we dont need to be slowed down by someone getting a ticket.

Its one hour from the place we are leaving from, so you'll have a little bit of time to get ready. I dont know if you want to wait near 75 by a on ramp and just blend in with us or what. I dont want to stop unless we absolutely have to.

Yeah, I would of went but my throttle is throwing a code and knew it would of been hard trip to make with it on like that.

It was my first one and it wasnt too bad, nice people, free food, watching my wife crawl up the rock wall. I was surprised with the street life show, I didnt think it was going to be so many imports, I just pictured a bunch of donks and attitudes but even over there was decent. Sorry but the only pics I took where of the cars from street life

Yea, deffinitly another great year, I had this whole list made of pros and cons and then lost it, so to be brief,

- More runs than last year as drag strip stayed open this year during the whole event.

- Difficulty knowing what was going on this year. Granted there were two events but it was hard to know what was going on, Tried gravitating towards where the majority of ppl were. Last year everything was broadcasted on the loud speaker so u knew where to go and by when.

- After enough pestering, got to park as a team this year, Greatly appreciated.

- Having 2 events really gave us something to go do during points of lullz. So i got to witness my new obsession, drifting championship. REALLY REALLY FUN!

All in all it was great, had fun meeting other scion enthusiasts as well as learn new things and get my lowest 1/4mile time in which I'll work to lower!

Yea missed ya this year, see ya at the next one!

I kind like the whole Scion only event last year: we had IRP/Oreilly to ourselves and they pretty much opened the doors wide open. But yeah; it did get boring once 3-4 pm came around since everyone did everything already.

One of these events: they should offer to do "Richard Petty Experience" racing experience but with modded factory tCs like the ones they use for Long Beach ProAm race. Allow certain number to do racing.
