Hey everyone,

I managed to damage my rear bumper today badly and was hoping to replace it through some DIY repairs. I was wondering if anyone on here had any knowledge or information regarding the removal/assembly of the bumper, or where I could find another factory bumper to replace it.

Thanks

Is the damage so severe that you have to replace the bumper?

The bumper was pushed out a bit, but managed to push it back in. The area near the tail light is pushed out a bit as well. The only bumper damage appears to be the two holes you see.

The tail light is cracked and needs to be replaced (and re modded, as I installed the 2nd reverse light on this earlier).

Im looking at 2 options: 1st is to order a tail light online and take the bumper to a friends repair shop and see if he can repair the hole in the bumper and repaint it. Once done, i would install both.

The 2nd would be to just buy both tail light and new bumper online, get it painted, then install both on my own.

sucks man...

but i think if ur buddy can repair and repaint just the damage areas then do that with a new taillight

not sure that small of a ding (maybe i'm not seeing it right) would warrant a whole new bumper....how'd it happen...maybe insurance will cover it? in which case a new painted bumper would be good
