How come the blue water light is on for a little bit, when and after I turn my car on? Anyone know, reasons, just wonderin because none of my other cars had this light on after i turned my car on. I'm a moron I know but your help would be greatly appreciated! ALO :lalala:

This light comes on initially after start up until the engine reaches normal operating temperature, if we're speaking of the same light.

cuz i let it warm up for about 10 or so minutes this morning and it was on still after i left it went off, the whole reason I was asking is because I dont want to ruin my motor or not properly breaking it in! u know! :doh:

The blue light is the low engine temp light...the red one is the high engine temp light...the blue light goes out when it reaches a certain temperature...
The manual recommends that you warm up your car by driving, not by idling...I usually let mine warm up for about 30 seconds in the garage before driving, and then keep the RPMs down for the first few minutes of driving...

If you just let it idle for like 2 mins that's a good warm up for all of the moving parts. Then all that's left is easy driving until the car warms up. If you use a coolant enhancer (i.e. Redline Water Wetter) you will in general warm up quicker.
