So i took a trip to Michigan recently and met up with the guys at Redline Tuning to test fit their new hood lift kit. It came out great and makes me wonder how i ever dealt with the ugly and misplaced hood prop.

Seems like it raises the hood a lot further than the prop arm does, which is nice. Im on my cell and would take forever to open there site, do you know the price?

^I think that all of them open the hood further than the factory prop arm can reach, I took that off once I put the dampers because the end of the prop was damaging my Greddy air diversion panel(tC1 owner here).

Now that's a proper working hood damper kit. I have a kit from another company and didn't know it was supposed to work like that, once I found out I was disappointed that mine was already blown from the start.

They start at 89 and go up from there. It's a great kit and fits under the hood perfectly

What's the purpose of it? Saw same stuff on a xb2 recently, but never asked him about it

i think its just a hood lift assist that lifts and holds it up

The wrap is to lower the ambient temperature in the engine bay.

Turbo blankets and heat wrap. I've ordered the titanium blanket and 1" wrap.

yeah its a titanium header wrap, i took the ugly heat shield off and installed my EGT gauge and the shield wouldnt fit over the EGT probe, whoops.... so thats gonna have to work until i get the turbo kit and new manifold
